Job Description:

Randstad Education is seeking a high-caliber Science Teacher to join a popular and successful secondary school in the market town of Rayleigh. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a school known for its strong academic results and its supportive, collaborative staff room.

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver "Good" to "Outstanding" lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Inspire a love for STEM subjects through creative lesson planning and hands-on experiments
  • Monitor student progress and use data to provide targeted support where needed
  • Contribute to a safe and stimulating laboratory environment
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the wider life of the school

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • A degree in a Science-related subject
  • Proven experience teaching the UK National Curriculum at the secondary level
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, "can-do" attitude
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to process one)
