Job Description:

Ignite a New Career: Science Teacher (SEND). This isn't a traditional school. Our students (ages 11-16) have unique ways of seeing the world-they navigate life with Autism, sensory processing needs, and social communication challenges. We don't just teach them Science; we help them discover the world in a way that feels safe and exciting for them.

Job Responsibility:

  • Making Science Click: Translating the National Curriculum into hands-on, sensory-friendly experiments
  • Creating a Safe Space: Using a non-confrontational, chill approach to help students regulate their emotions while they learn
  • Collaborating: Working with parents and specialists to ensure every student has a 'bespoke' plan for success
  • Lending a Hand: Being part of a new school means things move fast-you'll be someone who is happy to jump in and help out wherever needed

Requirements:

  • QTS or QTLS
  • A genuine 'people person' who is empathetic and resilient
  • Someone who is fascinated by how the brain works and wants to specialise in Autism-led teaching
  • A team player who is excited by the challenge of a new school launch
