Job Responsibility
Deliver engaging and structured Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (covering Biology, Chemistry, and Physics)
Maintain a positive and safe learning environment, managing classroom behaviour effectively
For long-term roles: Engage in full planning, preparation, assessment, and parent evenings as required by the school's department
Follow the school's policies regarding safeguarding, grading, and behavioural expectations
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent, recognised UK teaching qualification
A strong subject knowledge of the secondary Science curriculum
Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for inspiring young minds
An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
