Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and resilient Science Teacher to join us immediately. This is a full-time position covering both KS3 and KS4 Science. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and drive results across all three disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and deliver specialist Science lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Use data-informed strategies to support student progress and attainment
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management in line with school policy
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and engage in departmental meetings

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Mandatory
  • Subject Specialist: Proven ability to teach Science at KS3 and KS4 level
  • UK Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience teaching in UK secondary schools
  • Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Reliability: Commitment to a full-time schedule for the remainder of the academic year
