Job Responsibility:
Inspirational Delivery: Design and implement a Science curriculum that challenges students and fosters a deep curiosity about the natural world
Practical Learning: Oversee safe and engaging laboratory sessions, helping students bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world application
GCSE Success: Guide Year 11 cohorts through their examinations with targeted revision strategies, mock assessments, and personalized feedback
Inclusive Education: Differentiate your teaching methods to ensure Science is accessible and stimulating for learners of all abilities
Departmental Growth: Work collaboratively with fellow specialists to share resources and contribute to the ongoing success of the Science faculty

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is essential
A relevant degree in a Science discipline (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology)
Proven experience teaching the UK Science curriculum at the Secondary level
Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe laboratory environment
Excellent communication skills to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents
An enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
