Job Responsibility:
Deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons that challenge students to think critically and explore the world around them
Develop and implement a knowledge-rich curriculum that goes beyond the everyday experience of students
Collaborate effectively with a strong pastoral team to foster a culture of high expectations and personal growth
Maintain accurate records, assessments, and progress reports to ensure every student is on the path to success
Contribute to the development of the Science department, sharing best practices and innovative teaching strategies
Create a calm, positive, and purposeful classroom environment by consistently applying the academy's 'firm but fair' behavior policy
Utilize structured pedagogy and scaffolded support to make complex scientific concepts accessible to all learners

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification is held
A strong degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) is possessed
A passion for social mobility and a belief that every child can achieve greatness regardless of their background
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious environment where high standards are the norm
