Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students of all abilities
  • Prepare Year 10 and 11 students for GCSE success through high-quality instruction and exam-focused revision sessions
  • Utilise the school's well-equipped labs to facilitate safe and inspiring practical experiments
  • Maintain an inclusive classroom culture that encourages students to ask "why" and explore the world around them
  • Collaborate with the Science department to develop and refine schemes of work

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • A degree in a Science-related subject (Physics, Chemistry, or Biology)
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire student confidence
  • A commitment to the safeguarding and well-being of all young people
  • An Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
