Science Teacher (Supply) - No Planning or Marking - Plymouth Are you a dedicated Science educator seeking to reclaim your work-life balance? We are currently seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join our pool of supply staff for partner secondary schools across Plymouth. This opportunity is ideal for experienced teachers who wish to focus exclusively on classroom instruction, as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs) aiming to broaden their professional experience in diverse educational settings. Responsibilities Deliver Science lessons effectively for KS3 and KS4 students. Provide General Cover across various subjects as required to ensure a consistent and productive learning environment. Manage classroom behaviour professionally in accordance with established school policies. Maintain an organised classroom environment, ensuring all work is concluded during school hours with no marking or lesson preparation required outside of the classroom. Qualifications Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Strong adaptability and the ability to teach across the curriculum. Commitment to professional standards and a flexible approach to secondary education. Possession of an enhanced DBS check or a willingness to initiate the process. Documented right to work in the UK. What we offer A schedule maintained between 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. A competitive daily rate of pay.
