NEW CHAPTER: Science Teachers Wanted in Wirral! The Wirral's secondary schools are buzzing, and we need you to lead the way. We are excited to announce new openings for Qualified Science Teachers (KS3/KS4) looking for a fresh start. Start date: Immediate or post-Easter starts. Whether you are on the coast or in the heart of the borough, we've got you covered in these major areas: Birkenhead (CH41, CH42, CH43), Wallasey (CH44, CH45), Bebington (CH63), Bromborough (CH62), Heswall (CH60, CH61), West Kirby (CH48), and Pensby (CH61).

Job Responsibility:

Deliver engaging Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons across KS3 and KS4
Prepare and supervise safe, exciting practical experiments
Mark student work and provide constructive feedback to drive progress
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe to fail and learn
Collaborate with the department to develop innovative schemes of work
Attend departmental meetings and occasional parent's evenings

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent
Ability to teach your core specialism to KS3 and KS4 students
Strong classroom management skills with a focus on student engagement
A valid DBS check (or willingness to process one)
