Job Description:

Join a department where you don't just teach Science-you empower the next generation to decode the universe. Randstad Education is looking for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Witham. This is a full-time position starting in April 2026 and running until the end of the academic year.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with the opportunity for KS5 if applicable)
  • Ensuring all students are supported and challenged through practical and theoretical learning

Requirements:

  • UK Experience: You must have previous experience teaching Science in a UK school setting
  • Qualifications: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Subject Knowledge: A strong command of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4
  • Compliance: Must possess or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • Classroom Management: Proven ability to manage lab dynamics effectively while fostering a safe and positive learning environment
