Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Plan and execute engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and GCSE Science specifications
  • Manage and lead safe, investigative practical work
  • Use assessment data to bridge attainment gaps and foster scientific inquiry
  • Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the holistic well being and academic mindset of your students

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A BSc/MSc in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Applied Science)
  • A proven history of teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting
  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • 100% commitment to safeguarding and lab safety
