Science Teachers Needed | Sefton Secondary Schools. Are you a Biology, Chemistry, or Physics teacher looking for a local role with great pay? We are recruiting Qualified Science Teachers for secondary schools throughout Sefton, from the coast of Southport to the schools in Bootle. Whether you want a long-term position or flexible daily supply, we can get you started immediately.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver engaging Science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics) to secondary students
Plan and prepare lesson materials that follow the national curriculum
Mark student work and provide feedback to help them improve
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe, positive environment
Support the department with GCSE practicals and assessment preparation

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or ECT (Early Career Teacher) status
A University degree in a Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or similar)
A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
A passion for making Science exciting and accessible for all students
