Job Description:

An ambitious and inclusive Secondary School in the Borough of Newham is on the hunt for a Science Teacher to join their thriving department from January 2026. This is a full-time and permanent position, offering MPS2-MPS5, with potential TLRs available for the right candidate. The role involves teaching Science at KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 levels, inspiring and motivating students across varied abilities, and working collaboratively within a strong Science Department.

Job Responsibility:

Inspire and motivate students across a range of abilities
Work closely within a collaborative Science Department
TLR Opportunities: KS3 or KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility and more

Requirements:

Must have UK QTS (or be in the process of gaining it)
Strong academic background – Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
Confident classroom practitioner with evidence of Good or Outstanding teaching
Passionate about Science education and committed to student progress
Positive team player who welcomes feedback and collaboration
