Job Description:

Special Educational Needs (SEN) Science Teacher Position: SEN Science Teacher Location: Sefton Start Date: As soon as possible Are you an experienced Science teacher with a passion for SEN education? Do you enjoy designing creative lessons that enable children with special needs to explore and understand scientific concepts? If you want to make a real impact on SEN learners' educational journey, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create and deliver science lessons adapted to individual education plans and P Scales
  • Use differentiated approaches to engage learners of varying abilities
  • Develop positive relationships to encourage participation and confidence
  • Manage classroom behaviour with patience and creativity
  • Assist with personal care tasks when necessary to support learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to apply
  • Available 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Experience teaching Science within SEN settings preferred
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • Immediate start preferred
