Special Educational Needs (SEN) Science Teacher. Are you an experienced Science teacher with a passion for SEN education? Do you enjoy designing creative lessons that enable children with special needs to explore and understand scientific concepts? If you want to make a real impact on SEN learners' educational journey, we want to hear from you. You will be responsible for delivering accessible and engaging science lessons to students with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Complex Learning Difficulties (CLD).
Job Responsibility:
Create and deliver science lessons adapted to individual education plans and P Scales
Use differentiated approaches to engage learners of varying abilities
Develop positive relationships to encourage participation and confidence
Manage classroom behaviour with patience and creativity
Assist with personal care tasks when necessary to support learning
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to apply
Available 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Experience teaching Science within SEN settings preferred
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Immediate start preferred
