Learning Curve Group are a growing company which is proven through our recent acquisition of MPCT bringing military academies to a total of 34 across England and Wales. This allows us to offer unique training in both vocational qualifications, employability skills, and most importantly helping learners prepare for employment with includes rewarding careers in the British Armed Forces. Our schools Provision actively supports and complements all local school curricula with young learners (14-16 years old). Our intent is to deliver outcome drive school initiatives, adding value to learner development, enhancing school performance, and supporting nationally recognised priorities. We understand that many of our learners have diverse career aspirations; therefore, we ensure that qualifications are fit for purpose and facilitate appropriate knowledge acquisition allowing schools the option of implementing 1-, 2- or 3-year qualification-based programmes. Our Young Leaders Provision caters for Key Stage 2 (Primary School) and Key Stage 3 (Lower Secondary) assisting schools in developing their character education strategy and drives the acquisition and strengthening of values and virtues in young people. The initiative positively looks to challenge the impact of Covid, supporting personal development from lost learning, promoting the importance of school attendance through learner engagement, instilling confidence towards social interaction, embracing healthy behaviours, and adopting positive mindsets towards challenge and anxiety.
Job Responsibility:
Support learners across both provisions on in school and centre-based delivery
Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, across a range of level 2 qualifications
Develop lessons that are innovative, planned, engaging and enjoyable
Act as a positive role model for all learners, colleagues and peers
Display a positive approach to fitness and exemplify the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle
Comply with Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety Policies
Ensure a 95% attainment rate of all learners
Provide fun, engaging and differentiated physical training for all abilities
Attend parents evening, options evening as requested
Provide written and verbal feedback to parents, schools and partners
Act as a point of contact for all schools
Act as a safeguarding lead for all learners
Deliver high-quality, innovative and contextualised lessons
Undertake all mandatory training
Be comfortable with travel and hold a full UK license
Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring
Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity
Provide learners, customers and colleagues with support, advice guidance

L3 teaching qualification as a minimum (or will be willing to work towards)

GCSE Maths & English or equivalent as a minimum
Nice to have:
Experience working with or coordinating pre-16 level would be desirable
