Job Description

Our client, a tour operator specialising in educational school trips, is seeking an experienced School Travel Specialist to join their team. This role is Monday-Friday and either hybrid in Nottingham or fully remote and comes with a salary of up to £40,000 DOE plus commission.

Job Responsibility

  • Follow up on sales leads and generate new opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers
  • Prepare costings and create bespoke quotes tailored to budgets and requirements
  • Follow up quotations and close sales effectively
  • Achieve personal revenue and margin sales targets
  • Support and promote new product development, including travel to destinations for research
  • Collaborate with the Tours Sales and Product Manager to identify new products and markets

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience in the outbound school trips sector
  • Strong commercial awareness and proven sales skills
  • Excellent team player with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, remain resilient, and handle pressure calmly
