Randstad Education is looking for a SEN Administrator who has the dedication and passion to work across Cambridgeshire. This is a full time role starting ASAP and you will be expected to work from 8.00am-4.00pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will get to work closely alongside a dedicated, hardworking and talented staff in an attractive and well-resourced learning environment, you will be guided and supported by the school business manager at the school that has a clear vision that prioritises the well being of their students. For the right applicant there will be the opportunity to apply for a permanent position too.

Job Responsibility

  • To represent the school in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Working within the SEN department
  • Ensure reprographics requests are fulfilled on time
  • Undertake general administrative procedures
  • Provide general advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others
  • Provide general admin support such as photocopying, filing, faxing, e-mailing
  • Assist in completing standard forms and responding to routine correspondence
  • Produce lists/information/data as required, e.g. pupils' data
  • Undertake typing, word processing and other IT based tasks

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK is essential
  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
  • 2 recent professional references
  • Committed, flexible and enthusiastic
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Considerable experience of the schools computerised database, SIMS
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to set and work to agreed targets and work schedules
