Job Description:

We are currently looking for a proactive Risk and Compliance Officer for an immediate start to join a leading educational institution in Spring Hill. This is a full-time, 2-month position offering a unique opportunity to gain high-level experience within a vibrant, multicultural school environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identifying, assessing, and monitoring risks across all areas of school operations
  • Ensuring the school meets rigorous standards for child protection, privacy, and workplace health and safety
  • Navigating a diverse community environment, supporting staff and students from a wide range of backgrounds
  • Drafting and reviewing policies that align with best practices and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations
  • Coordinating the reporting and resolution of incidents, including WorkCover liaison and injury management
  • Serving as the Primary Fire Safety Advisor and the Return to Work Coordinator

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in risk and compliance
  • Current Queensland Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card)
  • Tertiary qualifications in Law, Risk Management, or Business
  • 2 years experience
