Job Responsibility

Undertake reception duties, answering the phone, face to face enquiries
Prepare meeting rooms and provide refreshments for visitors as required
Ensure that enquiries by person, phone or email are dealt with promptly and efficiently
Ensure that all visitors to the school are authorised and provided with security badges
Answer the telephone promptly and politely
Take and pass on messages to teaching and other staff
Liaise with line manager to ensure that the reception area is covered during core hours
Open and distribute incoming mail and emails, following up where required and ensuring an accurate and timely response
Distribute information to parents in all forms of appropriate media, i.e., letters, emails etc
