Job Description:

My client is a top private school in Berkshire, renowned for outstanding academic results and commitment to excellence. They are seeking a cheerful and professional School Receptionist to join their dynamic team in Wokingham. This job share position allows flexibility to balance professional and personal commitments while being an integral part of the school community.

Job Responsibility:

Act as the first point of contact for the School, welcoming visitors and responding to telephone and email enquiries in a helpful manner
Registering and signing in all visitors/contractors, following safeguarding procedures
Communicate with parents regarding and passing on information between parents and teachers accurately and efficiently
Receive parcels and deliveries
manage both incoming and outgoing post
Ensure the Reception Area is kept smart and tidy
Support the School Administrator with tasks as required, such as student attendance
Assist with admissions related tasks, including preparations for and assistance at Open Mornings and other related school events
Maintain the internal telephone list

Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A friendly demeanour and a passion for working with children and families
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
Previous experience in the education sector is an advantage but not essential
