Temporary Receptionist to join our client's team in Chatham. Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.00pm (30 min break). Start Date: ASAP. End Date: On-going temp.
Job Responsibility:
Provide a warm, welcoming first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors
Manage incoming calls, emails, and enquiries efficiently, ensuring clear communication and timely responses
Maintain visitor sign‑in procedures and ensure safeguarding protocols are followed at all times
Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, updating school records, and preparing correspondence
Assist with student attendance recording, late arrivals, and early collections
Coordinate meeting room bookings, school events, and staff schedules as required
Handle incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and general office organisation
Work collaboratively with teachers and leadership staff to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school
Requirements:
Experience using Microsoft Teams and Outlook
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with an eye for detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach
