Job Description:

We are seeking a well organised, patient and resilient individual to join a friendly and welcoming team, who are very passionate about providing the best support to their students. This is an important role as you will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents and students, face to face and over the telephone. This role is being offered on a long term temporary basis starting immediately until July 2026.

Job Responsibility:

Answering calls and taking messages
Meeting and greeting visitors, students and parents
Inputting data into the school system and spreadsheets
Distributing post to correct staff members
Assisting parents and carers with queries
Booking meetings and diary management
Filing, scanning, and archiving

Requirements:

Prior reception/administration experience
Ideally within an educational setting
Understanding of the importance of safeguarding
Computer literate
Confident and polite telephone manner
High attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Available immediately and able to commit to duration until July 2026
Enhanced DBS check required

Nice to have:

Recent DBS or subscribed to the update service
