The Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Teaching and Learning Sciences department, School Psychology program. This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.
Job Responsibility
Teach graduate level courses
Collaborate with faculty course lead to adapt and deliver course
Create and maintain course Canvas container
Meet with students as needed
Respond to student communication in timely manner
Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate
Grade in a timely manner
Maintain regular communication with the faculty lead, particularly if a student related issue arises
Requirements
Masters or terminal degree (depending on the course)
Teaching or clinic experience
Nice to have
Teaching experience in both birth-12 setting and higher education
Experience with inclusive pedagogy and commitment to inclusion
Experience using technology to facilitate adult learning
Content expertise (depending on the course—e.g. assessment, counselling etc.)
