Cheshire College – South & West is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated School Partnerships Coordinator to join our Marketing and School Partnerships team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting learner recruitment and progression by developing and maintaining strong relationships with schools, careers professionals and other key stakeholders across the region. Working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Admissions, Careers and Curriculum teams, you will co-ordinate and deliver a wide range of school engagement activities, events and recruitment initiatives designed to raise aspirations, support informed decision-making and promote the College's extensive range of courses and progression opportunities.
Job Responsibility
Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with local secondary schools, their staff, and relevant stakeholders
Plan, coordinate, and deliver engaging outreach events such as open days, taster sessions, careers fairs, and school visits
Work closely with college marketing and admissions teams to support student recruitment targets and campaigns
Promote and raise awareness of Cheshire College – South & West's post-16 education programmes (Full Time Courses, A Levels, T Levels, Apprenticeships and Higher Education) to pupils, parents/carers and schools, ensuring they receive accurate information, advice and guidance on progression opportunities
Identify opportunities for new partnerships and collaborative projects that align with the college’s strategic goals
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational policies, local school developments, and sector trends to inform partnership strategies
Requirements
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with experience of building effective partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders
Ability to engage confidently with young people, parents/carers, school staff and external stakeholders, acting as a positive ambassador for the College
Experience of planning, organising and delivering events, presentations or engagement activities
Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and work under pressure
GCSE Maths & English C (4/5) qualification (or equivalent)
