Job Description:

The town of Millis and Millis Public Schools are seeking a School Human Resources Generalist. This role will primarily serve Millis Public Schools employees while working closely with the Municipal HR Generalist to ensure consistent and coordinated HR practices across the town.

Job Responsibility:

  • Recruitment and onboarding
  • Benefits administration
  • Personnel recordkeeping
  • Leave management (FMLA/ADA)
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws
  • Serving as a resource to employees and retirees
  • Working closely with the Municipal HR Generalist to ensure consistent and coordinated HR practices across the town

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or public administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Two to four years of human resources experience
  • Working knowledge of employment laws
  • CORI/SORI clearance is required
