Job Description:

Paignton Academy is seeking a committed and compassionate School First Aider to oversee the care of pupils who are unwell, injured, or require medication or support during the school day. This is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting the wellbeing of our students and to be part of a caring, dedicated pastoral team.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the care of pupils who are unwell, injured, or require medication or support during the school day

Requirements:

  • Provide immediate first aid and make informed decisions about the appropriate course of action
  • Liaise effectively with Academy staff to ensure pupils receive timely and appropriate care
  • Maintain accurate records in line with Academy procedures
  • Contribute to the wider pastoral provision within the Academy, including offering mentoring support for pupils when required
