We are currently seeking an experienced School Finance & Admin Officer to join a busy, friendly school office in St Helens. This is an immediate requirement for a candidate who can provide seamless financial support and administrative coordination.
Job Responsibility:
Managing the end-to-end financial process using Arbor, including processing requisitions, BACS payments, and month-end reconciliations
Handling school-specific administrative tasks, supporting the Senior Leadership Team, and managing front-office enquiries as needed
Ensuring all financial records are maintained in line with St Helens Council's audit requirements
Acting as a point of contact for suppliers, parents, and staff regarding financial queries
Requirements:
Recent, hands-on experience with the Arbor system
Solid understanding of the daily operations within a school environment
Ability to manage a high workload with minimal supervision from day one
Nice to have:
Familiarity with the St Helens educational landscape
