Job Description

As a Data Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the School Information System and ensuring its optimal use. Your expertise will help support the school's performance, contextual data collection, and analysis to enhance teaching and learning.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage and maintain the School Information System to ensure up-to-date information and integration with other systems
  • Participate in planning and policymaking regarding administrative systems
  • Oversee data reporting to the Assistant Headteacher and ensure the integrity of the data
  • Develop and implement systems for accurate data collection, entry, and verification
  • Support the creation and management of timetables and assessments
  • Provide statistical reports and insights to staff, students, and parents as required

Requirements

  • BromCom experience
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Proven background in data management, including analysis and reporting
  • High level of statistical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to students, staff, and external agencies positively
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work flexibly under pressure
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and initiative
