Job Description

The school is seeking to appoint part-time cleaners for 16 hours per week. The successful candidates will work under the direction and instruction of senior staff to provide a clean and hygienic school environment, which meets the specified cleaning standards. Millom School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its students. Millom School has a friendly and supportive staff in a superb rural area at the southern tip of the Lake District.

Requirements

  • Experience as a cleaner is preferred
  • Training on specialist equipment will be given as required
  • Must meet requirements of Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education guidelines
  • Checks with past employers
  • Successful applicant to hold or undergo a suitable enhanced DBS disclosure
