Job Description:

Join an educational establishment in Bradford BD4 as a Business Manager. You'll support the back office and manage a team of 8 Administrators. This role is temporary to permanent, with the option for a straight permanent position.

Job Responsibility:

  • Line-manage the Administration team
  • Manage school diary, events, budgets, and compliance
  • Communicate with staff, students, parents, and external vendors
  • Promote events through various channels
  • Build and manage community relationships
  • Liaise with the exams manager for organisational changes
  • Order and manage stock and assist with marketing and promoting the Academy
  • Oversee the admissions process
  • Support data protection compliance
  • Monitor and keep records of staff absence, ensuring approval of leave requests
  • Line-manage the Cover Supervisor and process daily cover in their absence
  • Oversee relationships with supply and recruitment agencies for day-to-day cover
  • Ensure the induction and support for supply staff, familiarising them with school routines and lesson plans
  • Maintain accurate records of staff absences and cover arrangements
  • Contribute to the planning, development, and organisation of support service systems, procedures, and policies
  • Build relationships with local sports bodies
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and activities
  • Assist in managing sports facilities and services
  • Ensure staffing levels and food stock are maintained

Requirements:

  • Senior-level office environment experience and managing staff
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
