Job Description:

Zūm is calling for talent to join our team of passionate people, who are transforming student transportation. As a school bus attendant at Zūm, you will play a crucial role in ensuring student safety and maintaining a positive environment during school transportation. This is a safety-sensitive position because you are responsible for the care and supervision of students while the vehicle is in motion, and any impairment could create a significant risk of harm. School bus attendants must be patient, attentive, and able to manage student behavior while supporting the bus driver's focus on safe vehicle operation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely
  • Monitor student behavior and maintain order during transit
  • Support students with special needs, including operating wheelchair lifts
  • Assist with emergency evacuations and safety procedures
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, parents, and school staff

Requirements:

  • Minimum age: 21 years
  • Valid driver's license/identification card/work authorization
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug test
  • Ability to work split shifts (AM/PM) daily
