Job Description:

Join Our client's team as a School Admissions Officer! Are you a passionate and organised individual looking to make a meaningful impact in the education sector? Our client, a highly successful secondary school based in the heart of Coventry, is seeking a dedicated admissions officer to join their vibrant admission's team. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity working 37 hours per week paying up to £28,000.

Job Responsibility:

Manage all aspects of admissions and appeals, ensuring compliance with relevant criteria and legislation
Support pupil attendance for the Sixth Form, fostering a positive educational environment

Requirements:

Previous experience in school admissions within a primary or secondary setting
A solid understanding of the legal framework surrounding school admissions and appeals
Persuasive and effective communication skills to engage with staff, parents, and students
Strong analytical abilities to maintain accurate and timely information on admissions and transitions
Experience in a busy environment, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
The ability to cope with interruptions while maintaining accuracy and composure
