Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented individual with excellent organisational skills? Are you looking for a new position in the education sector? If you're a proactive and dedicated individual, we want you to join our team as a School Admission Officer. You'll provide essential support to our client schools throughout Cambridgeshire, with various opportunities available. This is a great chance to contribute to a thriving educational community. This is a full time role starting ASAP and you will be expected to work from 8.00am-4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the efficient and accurate organisation of all aspects of the school's admission arrangements and processes
  • Lead the admissions process and organisation of the selection test, working collaboratively with other administrators and senior leaders in pursuit of this
  • Manage the school's waiting lists and all communication with potential parents in accordance with the admissions policy
  • Update school database with all relevant data in preparation for school census returns
  • Respond to all admission enquiries, advising new and prospective students and parents of school procedures and admissions criteria
  • Produce proof of address and proof of on roll letters as required
  • Provide all staff with information on new arrivals

Requirements:

  • Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside of the box
  • Previous experience dealing with Admissions in schools
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail are critical
  • Able to work under pressure in a busy environment
  • Hold the right to work/eligibility in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS certificates or willing to get a new one
  • Provide specific references
