Job Responsibility:
Managing office procedures, handling the Headteacher's diary, and coordinating bi-weekly SLT meetings
Preparing detailed reports and assisting with business compliance, including preparation for ISI inspections
Assisting with admissions procedures, managing EHCP placements, and ensuring smooth transitions for learners moving to new schools
Building strong relationships with Local Authorities, business partners, and responding to parent enquiries with direction
Handling sensitive learner data with total discretion and ensuring all safeguarding policies are strictly followed
Supporting the HR team with onsite records, including staff attendance, training, and inductions
Actively promoting mental health and wellbeing for pupils and colleagues while upholding professional boundaries and learner dignity
Requirements:
Proven administrative experience, ideally within a school or an educational/SEND environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for minute-taking, report writing, and action plan circulation
Highly proficient in office software and data management systems
A master of multitasking with the ability to manage competing priorities for a Business Manager and Headteacher
A deep understanding of safeguarding principles and a commitment to the mental health and safety of young people
Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (or hold one on the Update Service)
