Job Description

Full-time ongoing temporary role for a School Administrator/Receptionist to support schools and academies across Greater Manchester. Play a vital role in enhancing the student experience in a vibrant school environment with a supportive team.

Job Responsibility

  • First point of contact for visitors, parents, students and staff
  • Visitor management including greeting, directing, and maintaining logs
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to emails and in-person inquiries
  • Handle clerical tasks including typing, filing, photocopying, data entry
  • Maintain and update pupil records, attendance registers, staff databases
  • Support attendance system by calling parents regarding absent students
  • Ensure school entry points are secure and monitor premises access
  • Keep reception area tidy and ensure essential supplies are stocked
  • Prepare and send school letters, newsletters and communications
  • Provide administrative assistance to various school departments

Requirements

  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in office software and administrative tasks
  • Friendly and approachable
