Strong technical underwriting knowledge of commercial lines classes of business
Good understanding of coverage and policy wording considerations
Experience working with underwriting systems and applications
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively

Underwrite delegated authority scheme business in line with underwriting appetite and company guidelines
Act as the first point of contact for allocated scheme partners, managing referrals and providing technical support where required

Support the ongoing performance and development of delegated underwriting schemes
Ensure underwriting decisions align with internal governance, regulatory requirements and customer outcome expectations
Maintain strong service standards and provide excellent support to scheme partners
Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve underwriting processes and operational efficiency
Support the optimisation of internal business processes to enhance delivery and service
Carry out any additional duties required by the business
