Reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating between internal and external stakeholders (including contractors and Boots Project Managers) to review, resolve and manage all ad hoc stock requests and queries. Working alongside the Operations and Contractor Support Managers, you will attend calls and meetings relating to scheme installations and projects. You will review all ad hoc stock requests, ensuring full supply to onsite teams so schemes can be completed in full and on time. You will investigate the root cause of all requests and use these findings to report on contractor and customer performance. Using data-driven insights, you will support the Continual Improvement (CI) programme, facilitate change, and continuously review and improve existing processes. Key attributes for this role include the ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks within fluid and changing timelines.
Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain excellent relationships with contractors and Boots Project Managers
Coordinate across all internal departments to investigate, resolve and fulfil onsite requests in a timely manner
Raise orders and maintain accurate data within the bespoke Warehouse Management System
Support client and contractor calls
Work closely with the Properties and Warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of stock
Liaise with the Inventory Team and suppliers to resolve QC issues reported by onsite teams
Requirements:
Experience working with external stakeholders and customers
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Teams, with strong Excel skills
Experience communicating with and reporting to external customers
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
Strong IT skills, including all Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel and Teams)
Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively, both internally and externally
Confidence to challenge external stakeholders constructively while maintaining positive working relationships
Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing deadlines
Strong coordination skills to promote collaborative behaviours across internal departments
Ability to problem-solve and use initiative
Actively contribute to the Continual Improvement (CI) process
High level of attention to detail with accurate data input and a “right first time” approach
Ability to lead discussions and drive solutions
GSCE Maths & English – C or above
