The Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules for midstream pipeline and facility projects, ensuring accurate tracking of progress, risks, and critical paths. This role works closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and Project Controls teams to provide timely schedule updates, assess impacts from changes, and support project decision-making. Strong scheduling software skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are essential.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, maintain, and update project schedules for facility and pipeline projects using Primavera P6 or MS Project
Track progress, analyze critical paths, and prepare weekly/monthly schedule reports for project teams and management
Perform schedule risk and quality checks using tools like Acumen Fuse and Primavera Risk Analyzer
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, contractors, and Project Controls to gather updates and resolve schedule issues
Support change management by evaluating schedule impacts, preparing what-if scenarios, and maintaining baseline integrity
Requirements:
Must be able to effectively support and communicate with various project team members, contractors, and within E&C Project Controls
Detail oriented with good organizational skills
Knowledge and application of scheduling standards and practices involving ground-up (facility) and/or linear (pipeline) projects
Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of internal and external customers
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent assignments
Additional work outside of normal business hours may be required
Travel could be up to 25%, as required

5-8 years of relevant work experience directly related to Project Controls, Engineering or Project Management in the Oil & Gas Industry with emphasis on Midstream (Pipeline)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance preferred
Further certifications through the AACE and/or PMI are preferred, but not required
Proficient understanding of the full life cycle of ground-up and linear based projects from project initiation to closure
Advanced knowledge and proficiency utilizing the following Software(s): Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft platforms
Primavera P6/Microsoft Project
Primavera Risk Analyzer
Acumen Fuse/Risk
SAP
A Project Management Tool of any kind
Advanced knowledge and proficiency utilizing scheduling add-ons to evaluate schedule integrity, risk, and program management
