Scheduler

• Quality-check incoming jobs and ensure accurate, safe scheduling of works
• Communicate effectively with Operations teams, updating them and the client as required
• Coordinate reactive and emergency works, ensuring rapid response
• Allocate and manage high volumes of routine and cyclical maintenance jobs
• Maintain accurate records in the client’s asset management system (Confirm)
• Support hub activities including logging information, handling enquiries, and escalating issues
• Monitor dashboards to identify risks, overdue jobs, and required actions
• Assist with winter maintenance coordination, ensuring instructions are communicated and recorded
• Manage communication channels and capture important updates and incident information
• Liaise with partners (e.g., Telent) to validate, resource and track technology-related jobs
• Record urgent works, incidents and severe weather events in the Incident Log
• Arrange subcontractor attendance when specialist support is needed and ensure records are updated
• Prioritise Attend & Assess jobs and challenge validity where appropriate
• Support health & safety by identifying risks and raising near misses
• Maintain up-to-date subcontractor contact information

• Good general education
• Experience of scheduling works, planning, logistics or resource
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel and Word as well as other finance and data systems
• Excellent communicator both verbally and written with all levels of staff
• Knowledge of South West National Highways Road Network (Desirable)
