We are seeking highly motivated individuals with excellent quantitative and communication skills. The position requires seven equivalent years of experience in combined industry and government acquisition experience, e.g., DoD/NASA/NRO employee or SETA/FFRDC supporting government acquisition; and is proficient with MS Project and other COTS schedule software.
Job Responsibility:
Analyzing contractor’s Integrated Master Schedules, building, and maintaining government program schedules
Assisting in the development, maintenance, and updates to the NDW program integrated master schedules IAW DoD Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule Preparation and Use Guide
Providing Integrated Master Schedule analysis including risk assessments associated with Prime Contractor source selections
Briefing the results of their analysis to the Cost Chief and Program Managers
Analyzing the program office’s Integrated Master Schedule to identify opportunities to improve program schedule execution IAW DoD Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule Preparation and Use Guide
Documenting the analysis results and analyzing the integrated master schedule for the directorate to identify opportunities to improve program execution IAW DoD Integrated Master Plan and Integrated Master Schedule Preparation and Use Guide
Establishing project schedule configuration management policies, establishing a schedule strategy, and schedule planning and development
Schedule estimating, substantiation of confidence level generation, development of JACS analysis schedule, schedule/prediction analysis, performance measurement (earned value), DCMA 14-Point Assessments, and project forecasting
Daily interface with government personnel and prime contractors
Requirements:
Seven equivalent years of experience in combined industry and government acquisition experience, e.g., DoD/NASA/NRO employee or SETA/FFRDC supporting government acquisition
Proficient with MS Project and other COTS schedule software
Organized, detailed-oriented individual with strong customer-oriented communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Milestone Professional, ACEIT/JACS, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Proficient in performing program system level schedule analyses and oversight, generating schedule assessments, and preparing reports/presentations
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or financial management
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance required
Nice to have:
Familiarity with other schedule analysis tools, e.g., Primavera, Acumen Fuse, SAP/ERP, JIRA, and with Department of Defense (DoD) programs to acquire Space and Launch systems
Project Management Institute Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)
Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Working knowledge of schedule management, scheduling, cost estimating, and earned value management guidelines
Two years’ experience credit for a Master’s degree
