Your eye for detail and mastery of finishes make you the last, critical step before our projects take center stage.

Job Responsibility:

Transform the Ordinary — Sand, prep, and finish wood, metal, foam, and composite surfaces until they’re show-ready
Paint Like a Pro — Apply paints, stains, glazes, varnishes, and specialty scenic finishes that elevate every build
Texture Wizardry — Create faux rust, stone, wood, leather, and other effects that wow at first sight
Color Perfection — Mix and match to nail exact shades and tones
Collaborate & Create — Work alongside carpenters, metal fabricators, and project managers to bring the vision home
Quality Control — Inspect every finish to ensure consistency, durability, and beauty
Keep It Tight — Maintain a safe, clean, and organized finishing area

Requirements:

Strong artistic and visual design skills
Experience in scenic, theatrical, or themed entertainment finishing
Expertise in multiple paint application methods (spray, brush, roller, sponge)
Knowledge of surface prep for various materials
Keen eye for detail and color matching
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Portfolio or samples of past scenic finish work
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
Manual dexterity and precision in repetitive tasks
Comfortable working with paints, solvents, and other chemicals (PPE provided)
