Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented SBA Loan Closer to join our team on a contract basis in Walnut Creek, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of loan processing and administration. The ideal candidate will have experience in SBA 7(a) loans and a strong background in loan documentation and financial analysis.

Job Responsibility

  • Collect and review all information and documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Package loan files and related documents in accordance with SBA requirements and regulations
  • Obtain SBA Approval through Etran and prepare SBA Authorization in accordance to credit terms/conditions and SBA SOP 50 10
  • Prepare loan documentation using LaserPro and review for completeness and accuracy
  • Correspond with clients, escrow/title and insurance companies to coordinate closing
  • Ensure collateral is protected with all liens perfected in the appropriate position

Requirements

  • Proven experience in loan administration, processing, and closing, with a focus on SBA 7(a) loans
  • Strong knowledge of SBA forms, regulations, and guidelines
  • Proficiency in loan origination systems and document management platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
