Job Description:

Our client is a Regional Bank Holding Company that is seeking an SBA New Business Development Officer for the Denver, Colorado area. This individual will have the flexibility to come and go from the office but will need to be in office on Friday mornings. They will be doing 100% new business development of SBA loans. Although they will be required to get quite a bit of information from the customer to start the loan process, they have Credit Analysts and an SBA Closer that will assist with the process. They are looking at mainly 7a loans and can buy Brokered loans. Our client does a lot of B paper. The bank is open to looking at very seasoned SBA New Business Development Officers to someone that has shown the ability to bring in business that they can train.

Job Responsibility:

  • 100% new business development of SBA loans
  • Gather initial customer information to start loan process
  • Work with Credit Analysts and SBA Closer to complete loan process
  • Focus on 7a loans
  • Handle B paper loans
  • Potentially buy brokered loans

Requirements:

  • Experience in SBA new business development
  • Ability to bring in business
  • Seasoned SBA New Business Development Officer or trainable candidate with proven ability to bring in business
  • Knowledge of SBA loans, particularly 7a loans
  • Experience with B paper loans
  • Ability to gather initial customer information for loan process

Nice to have:

Experience with brokered loans
