Job Description

We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Saturday Sales Assistant to support our busy Watchet branch. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly team and deliver excellent service to both trade and retail customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Serve customers in branch and over the phone
  • Provide advice on products, pricing, and stock availability
  • Process orders, quotes, returns, and payments (EPOS)
  • Keep the trade counter clean and well presented
  • Support stock control and shelf replenishment
  • Build strong customer relationships and repeat business
  • Work closely with yard and warehouse teams to fulfil orders

Requirements

  • Experience in a builders' merchant, trade counter, or retail role (preferred)
  • Knowledge of building materials (desirable)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-focused
  • Comfortable working in a busy environment
