St Margaret’s Hospice Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Saturday Sales Assistant to join our team. This role will be based in our Yeovil Bargain Basement Store. You will join us on a permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £4857.23 per annum. This is a part time role working 7.5 hours a week on a Saturday. There may occasionally be a need to work additional hours to cover staff leave as required.
Job Responsibility:
Support the shop manager and deputy in the running of the shop
Delivering friendly and approachable customer service
Sorting and lifting donated goods
Merchandising and creating eye-catching shop displays
Following till and cash handling procedures
Helping to support and motivate a team of shop volunteers
Promoting the services and fundraising activities of St Margaret’s Hospice
Requirements:
Previous experience in a retail environment is desirable but not essential
Demonstrable high standards of customer service
Good communication skills
