As a Production Engineer, you enable ICEYE’s satellites to perform as designed by validating, testing, and troubleshooting electronics throughout production and qualification. Your work ensures that hardware meets technical, quality, and reliability requirements before integration and launch. You collaborate closely with production, AIT, quality, and design teams, turning test results and failures into clear actions that improve product robustness, manufacturability, and production efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure reliable, high-quality satellite electronics through hands-on testing and qualification.
Satellite electronics are qualified and verified reliably, meeting performance, quality, and reliability requirements with minimal rework.
Production and qualification risks are identified early and driven to resolution, protecting satellite build schedules and system integrity.
Verification tooling, automation, and documentation enable repeatable, scalable testing, remaining audit-ready at all times.
Requirements:
Hands-on experience with electronics qualification, verification, or production testing
Ability to plan and execute functional tests including test setup, instrumentation, and execution
Strong practical skills using electronic and RF lab equipment: Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, VNAs (basic use)
Experience with PCBA inspection, troubleshooting, and rework support
Solid understanding of power, digital, and mixed-signal electronics
Fundamental understanding of RF concepts and interactions between analog, digital, and RF circuitry
Ability to analyse test data, identify failures or non-compliances, and support root-cause analysis
Experience creating and maintaining test procedures, test reports, and production documentation
Ability to build and maintain test setups, jigs, or fixtures for repeatable testing
Basic ability to create or modify automation scripts (e.g. Python) to support production or testing workflows
Familiarity with quality, traceability, and documentation requirements in a production or high-reliability environment
Intellectual Firepower: Rapidly comprehends, structures and synthesizes complex information, draws accurate conclusions, and communicates them with clarity.
