Satcom Support Engineer – L2

Job Responsibility

  • Provide Level 2 technical support for VSAT, L-band, and LEO/MEO satellite services
  • Troubleshoot RF, connectivity, latency, packet loss, and modem-related issues
  • Handle L1 escalations independently within SLA timelines
  • Monitor satellite terminals and network performance using NMS tools
  • Perform remote configuration of routers, modems, firewalls, and WAN devices
  • Analyze signal strength, bandwidth utilization, and interference issues
  • Coordinate with OEMs, NOC teams, and satellite providers for fault resolution
  • Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities remotely
  • Maintain accurate ticket updates, RCA documentation, and SLA compliance
  • Participate in 24x7 rotational shift support
  • Ensure uninterrupted connectivity for maritime, offshore, and enterprise clients

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years work experience
