The jobholder will be responsible for leading systems engineering activities associated with the design and development of SatCom Antenna Terminals and sub systems, for ground and airborne applications, with emphasis on reflector and phased array antennas.
Job Responsibility:
Lead the overall design, development and qualification/certification of a product (or a family of products) to satisfy customer and regulatory requirements and programme cost and schedule needs
Responsible for technical definition, engineering deliverables, schedule, cost, quality and risk management aspects up to final customer acceptance
Coordinate and perform systems engineering tasks throughout the lifecycle of programs or R&D projects
Coordinate and perform design to requirements and design to manufacturing activities
Coordinate and Perform antenna design
Support production, integrated logistics and customer
Support and assure continuous safe operations
Support anomalies investigations to identify root causes
Support Lesson Learned sessions
Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering
At least 10 years of work experience on Antenna Design (focus on reflector and phased array antennas)
At least 5 years of work experience in leading teams of Engineers in all disciplines, from product conception to final delivery
Experience in Military and Commercial SATCOM terminal requirements, validation, and certification
Experience on design/validation of terminals for use on LEO, MEO, GEO based constellations
Familiar with antenna performance validation methodologies, including indoor range and outdoor testing
Familiarity with SATCOM terminal integration for MODEMs supporting multiple orbits and networks
Familiar with Link Budgets Analysis and SATCOM terminal performance predictions
Familiar with RTCA D0-160 – MIL STD810 – MIL STD461 qualification processes
