Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAS Expert to join an international data and analytics team. This role is ideal for a senior professional with strong hands-on SAS development skills who is comfortable working independently with business units and supporting complex migration and optimization initiatives. You will work on large-scale data analytics solutions, ensuring high code quality, performance, and compliance across environments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining SAS programs using Base and Advanced SAS
  • Working with SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS DI Studio and SAS E-Miner
  • Performing code migration, refactoring and performance optimization across environments
  • Troubleshooting SAS jobs and resolving complex code and data issues
  • Writing, testing and validating SAS programs with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and compliance
  • Leveraging SQL for data manipulation and seamless integration with SAS
  • Supporting analytics use cases involving large-scale datasets
  • Working independently with Business Units during migration and transformation activities
  • Collaborating with data, analytics and business stakeholders in a distributed setup

Requirements:

  • At least 9 years of professional experience in SAS development and analytics across multiple domains
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SAS Base and Advanced SAS programming
  • Proficiency in SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS DI Studio, and SAS E-Miner
  • Solid experience with SQL for data manipulation and integration
  • Proven experience in code migration, optimization, and performance tuning
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve SAS job failures efficiently
  • Experience delivering data analytics solutions on large and complex datasets
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables

Nice to have:
